Stepping out of the bustling city and into the countryside of Oxford, NJ, I found myself transported to a picturesque setting reminiscent of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Jack's Barn, with its rustic exterior and charming balcony, instantly captured my heart. As a vendor at an event there, I was enchanted by the venue's wooden walls, high ceilings, and the warm glow of lights that adorned the space. This blog recounts my delightful experience and the joyous celebration of a special 16th birthday party.

The Venue's Rustic Charm

Walking into Jack's Barn felt like stepping onto a movie set. The rustic ambiance, complete with wooden walls and high ceilings, created an inviting and nostalgic atmosphere. The venue's elegant décor, including tables adorned with flowers and white sheer curtains that separated the room during the ceremony, added to its timeless charm. The attention to detail and the use of an old rustic door as a backdrop added to the venue's unique character.

Setting up the Mirror Booth

As a vendor, I had the task of setting up a 100 lb mirror booth, which required carrying it up a flight of stairs. Although it was physically demanding, the breathtaking scene that greeted me at the top made every effort worthwhile. The rustic elegance of the venue provided the perfect backdrop for our mirror booth setup, and I knew it would be a hit with the guests.

The Joyous Celebration

The star of the event was a radiant 16-year-old birthday girl who exuded pure happiness. Unlike many teenagers burdened by self-consciousness, she embraced the joy of her special day without a care. It was heartwarming to witness her genuine delight and see her surrounded by a joyful crowd of friends and family.

Our mirror booth quickly became the center of attention as guests flocked to create lasting memories. The fun and interactive nature of the mirror booth provided a unique experience for everyone. It was a pleasure to contribute to the celebration and witness the pure joy it brought to the birthday girl and her loved ones.

With his incredible talent, he had the entire crowd on the dance floor, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and celebration.
